Michaela van der Meer

Michaela has a deep connection to Aotearoa, her Journey started 20 years ago when she traveled with Te Waimatao Oriwia Maharata Tiaki Turoa who adopted me in her Whanau, and connected me to the maori Healers, and so we shared many years here in Kura Waka, where the center received the name by Manu Korewa. It has been a deep transformative Journey, and it still is, and it inspired me till now with deep respect and the longing to keep the legacy alive for us and the future generations. I have joined the Te Rongopae Maori Healing Training guided by Manu Korewa and Atarangi Muru, as well the Kawa Ariki “The Goddess returns” training by the Maori healers in New Zealand 2013, and in 2014 at Maui Hawaii. During the healing session she will use techniques to release old trauma on a mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual level as well on a sexual level. So your energy can flow again.

Peter Frenay

Two years ago, Maori healing came my way under the guidance of Ruatau and Hana May from Aotearoa.  For eight years I have been able to meet many special Souls at Kura-Waka and during this time I have made great developments as a person.

Traditions, cultures and their healing methods have always interested me and I was given the opportunity to integrate a number of them into myself.  What I have already received comes together in the Traditional Romiromi, Mirimiri healing Bodywork Training and I feel that there is a natural predisposition to work with these techniques and energy.  What I get back from clients is that they experience deep relaxation, a grounded male energy and find a safe place in this, that which was blind or hidden comes to the surface and can then be felt in one's own way.

Since Maori healing came my way, I experience that we as humans need to take our own responsibility for spirit, body and mind and from there we can be of service... That this process is a lifelong process that will be touched on ever deeper layers... and that nothing is separate from each other and every change has an influence on the whole...

Te mauruuru i roto i te taviniraa-gratitude in service.

I came in contact with traditional Maori healing in Kura Waka.
After I had received a Maori healing myself, I was very impressed, which is why I also started following the training. Where I was initially mainly interested in the philosophies, I also started giving Maori sessions myself because of the deep impact the training had on me. I followed the traditional Maori Healing training Romiromi Mirimiri level 1, 2 and 3 given by Ruatau Perez.
